CSULB's College of Engineering offers programs for both the pre-college level (MCP) and college level (MUP). The MESA College Prep (MCP) program at CSULB partners with middle schools and high schools from the Long Beach and Los Angeles area to prepare students to attend college.

​The MESA College Prep Program is an amazing opportunity for middle school students, grades 6-8, and high school students, grades 9-12, to develop academically. Our program focuses on ensuring that students are taking the right steps to reach their goals for their post-secondary education by providing:

• tutoring from CSULB undergraduate engineering students

• individual academic planning

• exposure to technical careers and role models

• hands-on STEM activities (MESA Days)

• and more!
