Dodson MS takes 2nd place in the 2024 MESA USA National Engineering Design Challenge

The 2024 MESA USA National Engineering Design Competition took place from June 24th to June 27th at the California State University of San Diego. First place teams, from various states including Arizona, California, Oregon, and New Mexico, came together at SDSU to compete in this national competition.

After receiving 1st place for the middle school division at SJSU in May, Dodson MS, took 2nd place overall in the national competition this June. The students from Dodson MS and the CSU Long Beach MESA center placed 1st in the technical pitch category and 2nd place in the poster symposium category and earned gold medals and plaques for their achievements in the competition.
